Full of Grace and Truth
Truth is vitally important. It doesn’t matter how sincere or zealous someone is, if they are wrong then it is vain. Likewise though, love is of utmost importance. If someone has all the truth in the world and yet is mean and hateful about it, the Bible says, “it profiteth nothing.” Here at Hobble Creek Baptist Church, we endeavor to value truth as an absolute necessity of life, and yet place love in its rightful place, as an indispensable principle from God. If at any time, we learn that we are wrong, we’ll gladly change in agreement with God. Likewise, if at any time someone doesn’t agree with us, we’ll happily show them grace and love. At HCBC we will serve our neighbor, community, and the world, with love and truth. What a blessing it is to work together in love as we walk in truth. Come be a part of our family as we strive to be full of grace and truth like the Savior Jesus Christ.

My name is Jory Petitti, and I have the blessing of pastoring Hobble Creek Baptist Church. I’m originally from Moab, Utah, and my wife, Marisa, is from San Diego, California, and we have one child, Brooke who is a tremendous blessing to us. It is our desire to start and pastor HCBC for the rest of our lives here in the Springville.
