Invitation from the Pastor

Welcome,

I want to invite you to come join us at Hobble Creek Baptist Church as we worship the Lord and praise His name. We welcome all people. You don’t need to be a Baptist to come, nor do you need to be a Christian. If you’re just curious, that is a perfect reason to come. When you arrive, you’ll find that we have the joy of the Lord, love all people, and have a high respect for truth.

Come join us and see what the Lord is doing.

  • -Church starts at 2:00 PM on Sundays

    -Our meeting address is 1502 N 1750 W, Springville, UT 84663, which is the Meeting Room at the Holiday Inn Express

    -We also have a Wednesday Bible study at 6:30 (6:00-6:30 optional fellowship & prayer time)

    -It is okay if you’re late

    -There will be coffee and snacks

    -Come as you are

  • We love questions. Surely you might have a million of them but rest assured that your questions will not grieve us. We welcome them and hope for them.

  • We won’t bash you, gossip, or look down at you. I know it can be intimidating to come for the first time, but just know that we love visitors and would be very blessed by your presence. If you come, we will do our best to make you feel welcome and to make you feel like family. In fact, if you came, it’d make our day.

  • We endeavor to teach the truth and love each other. Therefore, when you come you will be blessed by God’s Word and God’s people.

  • James 4:14 says, “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

    This verse shows us that, (1) we don’t know what tomorrow may hold, and (2) that life is short. Church is important and the truth and enrichment you will get from joining us is indispensable.
