Senior Pastor & Church Planter

All Glory to God!

Hi, my name is Jory Petitti. I was raised in a little town called Moab, Utah. Growing up, I did not know much about God and the Bible because I was an Atheist. However, during my sophomore year of high school I was invited to Moab Baptist Church, and after months of attending off and on, I was encouraged to go with the youth group to a youth conference trip to West Coast Baptist College. That first night, Dean Dalton (the youth leader), and I stayed up till 2:00 in the morning talking about God and the Bible, and at 1:42 AM, on April 2, 2008, I trusted Christ as my personal Savior. Dean Dalton had showed me how that I was a sinner in need of a Savior and that I could do nothing to save myself—I couldn’t do enough good works to be saved, I couldn’t be a good enough person to be saved, I couldn’t cease from sin to be saved—but then he proceeded to show me how that Christ made a way for me by bleeding and dying on the cross for me. He then showed me how that Christ was buried and rose again three days later, proving He conquered death and hell and proving He had made a way for me. That night I placed my faith in Him alone to save me from my sin and its penalty.

After getting saved, the Lord began to remove the things out of my life that were displeasing to Him and began to put in me a heart to live for Him. While going to college in Utah, I felt the Lord leading me to go to Bible college and serve Him in full time ministry. I then went to Bible college at Frontier School of the Bible for the next four years. During and after college, I served under my pastor, Cole Howe, and my home church as an intern, regular pulpit supplier, song leader, Sunday school and children’s church teacher, deacon, and started and ran a van ministry picking up kids and teens for church. After serving my church for many years I felt ready to begin full time ministry on my own in Utah. My heart began to break for Utah county and more specifically, Springville and Provo. I then met my wife, Marisa, and we were married on February 8, 2020. We then began deputation in April of 2021 and spent the next year and a half raising support to plant a church here in Springville. We finally arrived in Springville on October 10, 2022, and have been serving here ever since.

I have high ambitions here in Springville. I envision having a fully established church, writing books, teaching Bible college courses, and sending out others that’ll do the same. The gospel and evangelism are my passion in life and I look forward to sharing the gospel here in this area for the rest of my life.

Marisa Petitti

This is my wife. She is a music nerd and teaches private lessons for viola, violin, guitar and piano all while being a stay-at-home mom and a pastor’s wife. She is a huge help to me and our ministry.

My Family

This is my daughter. At the time of this writing, she is fifteen months old. Brooke has one of the most joyous spirits I’ve ever seen.

My family is so important to me and I’m so blessed to have them in my life.
