Our Beliefs

What beliefs are included below?

Our beliefs below consist of, (1) non-comprisable doctrines and beliefs, and (2) doctrines and beliefs which are commonly attacked today by the world and Satan. This list below does not exhaust all that we believe to be important. Here’s what we believe:

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. We believe the Bible is infallible and inerrant. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the scriptures. We believe God has promised to preserve His Word. We believe the Bible is our supreme and final authority.

God

We believe there is only one God, and that God is one. We believe God exists in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; these three are one. We believe God is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, eternal and is transcendent far above our comprehension.

God the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a person. We believe Christians are sealed with the Holy Spirit at salvation and that no believer can lose Him. We believe the Holy Spirit is equal in person to the Father and Son.

Satan

We believe Satan can transform himself into an angel of light. We believe Satan is extremely deceptive, powerful, and capable of miraculous works. We believe there are many anti-Christs in the world today.

Man

We believe Adam and Eve were the first people created. We believe in creationism. We believe man fell in the garden and inherited the sin nature. We believe man cannot save themselves apart from Christ.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We believe in the eternal security of a believer, that once saved always saved. Click here for more information about salvation.

The Church

We believe Christ is the head of the church, which is the body of Christ. We believe church attendance is essential for Christians. We believe in the separation of church and state.

Ordinances

We believe there are only two ordinances: baptism and communion. We do not believe that ordinances save. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. Communion is a time of remembering what Christ did.

Israel

We do not believe the church is the new Israel. We do not believe God is done with Israel. We believe the Old Covenant is null and void. We believe Christians ought to pray for Israel.

The Future

We believe Christ is coming again. We do not believe that we are currently in the millennium. We believe that all will stand before God someday.

Other

We believe in only two genders. We believe in traditional marriage. We believe in separation and holiness. We believe missions is vitally important. We do not believe in abortion.
